The difference lies in the execution,
beautiful spaces are shaped in the details.
You may already know what you want to achieve, but…
Turning that vision into a home that feels coherent, elevated, and beautifully resolved is something else entirely.
The challenge is rarely inspiration. It’s knowing how to make the right decisions, in the right order, while avoiding costly mistakes and maintaining a clear direction from beginning to end.
Every design choice affects the next, a home that feels thoughtful, functional, and refined doesn’t happen by accident, it comes from structure, judgment, and careful execution.
That’s where I come in, to bring clarity to the process, and to help you shape a home that feels as good as it looks.
THREE WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
Whether you need a visual refresh, a full design plan, or complete project support,
each service is structured to meet you where your project is.

A CLEAR, STRUCTURED AND SEAMLESS PROCESS

5. Final delivery: Within approximately two weeks of approving the initial concept , you receive the complete design package, ready for implementation.

Design & Plan
1. Confirmation: The project begins with a 50% deposit, followed by a welcome email outlining the process and next steps.
2. Site review: A detailed site visit allows me to gather measurements, photographs, and develop a deeper understanding of the space, your needs and your goals.
3. Design proposals: Within approximately three weeks, I present up to three layout options together with the initial design concept.
4. Refinement: We review the proposal together to refine the selected direction through two working sessions.
5. Technical development: Once the design is approved, I develop the complete project documentation, including plans, elevations, finishes, and technical specifications. This stage takes approximately three to four weeks.
6. Final delivery: Once the remaining 50% is paid, you receive the completed design package, along with any final agreed refinements, ready for your contractor to execute.

Design & Manage
1. Design phase: We begin with the complete Design & Plan process, fully defining the project before execution begins.
2. Team selection: I source and review suitable contractors and specialists, presenting you with carefully considered recommendations for approval.
3. Project launch: Once the design and project team are approved, execution begins and I coordinate the different parties involved.
4. Ongoing management: Throughout the project, I oversee site progress, coordinate contractors, suppliers and deliveries, manage purchases, and ensure the project stays aligned with the approved design.
5. Installation and styling: As the project comes together, I oversee the installation of furniture, finishes, and styling details, ensuring every element is thoughtfully brought together.
6. Final handover: We walk through the completed space together, address any final adjustments and I remain available for any necessary follow-up.

DANIELLA PRINCIPE
Venezuelan by birth,
European by adoption
My path into interior design wasn’t a traditional one, but the pull toward creating spaces that feel beautiful, personal, and deeply considered was always there.
Over time, that curiosity became something more intentional, shaped through study, observation, and years of building what I think of as my own visual library.
Today I bring those influences together to create interiors that feel collected rather than decorated, balancing beauty with function and always reflecting the people who live in them.

My geographic journey shaped the way I design
I was born and raised in Venezuela, and have since called the United States, Paris, Panama, and Belgium home. Each place has shaped the way I design. Europe refined my appreciation for proportion, timelessness, and quiet elegance, while my Latin American roots continue to inspire my love of warmth, texture, craftsmanship, and colour, bringing what I like to think of as a subtle tropical chic sensibility to my work.

The project that changed everything
The turning point came when my husband and I built our home in Belgium from the ground up. Every decision mattered, from layout and materials to finishes, lighting, and the final styling details. I began documenting the journey on Instagram, initially simply to share our progress with family and friends. What started as a personal project soon revealed something much bigger: how much I loved not only creating a home, but the entire process behind it.

I Made a House was born from that experience
As I shared the process, I began to see how many people feced the same challenge: they had taste, ideas, and a vision for their home, but needed clarity, direction, and someone to help bring it all together.
That realisation became I Made a House: a thoughtful and structured interior styling and design service created to bring clarity to the process and make the journey of shaping a home feel more enjoyable and far less overwhelming.
